What logo file do I need for embroidered or printed workwear?

Updated · Workwear Global

The best file for workwear branding is a vector logo — AI, EPS, SVG or PDF — because it scales without losing quality. If you only have a JPEG or PNG, send the largest version you have; we can redraw or clean it up before decorating.

File formats, best to worst

  • Vector: AI, EPS, SVG or PDF saved from a design program — ideal for every method.
  • High-resolution PNG with a transparent background (at least 300 dpi at print size) — good for DTF and print.
  • JPEG or screenshots — usable as a reference; usually need redrawing for a crisp result.

Colours

Supply Pantone (PMS) references if you have brand guidelines. Embroidery threads are matched to the nearest available thread colour; DTF reproduces CMYK colour. Very light logos need a contrasting garment colour to stand out.

Common questions

Do I see a proof first?
Yes. You approve a digital artwork proof showing the logo, size and position before anything goes into production.
